This was my senior thesis for an Urban Studies major at Vassar College. For the project I studied the socioeconomic changes in Poughkeepsie, NY through photographic, historical, and interview research of its Main Street. I took hundreds of photographs of Main Street and stitched them together to create one large panorama showing both sides of the street. I displayed the 100 foot photograph on campus and invited members of the college and surrounding community to come view it.

Combined with my research and interviews I wanted this photograph to paint a picture of an ever-changing city in its current state and let the audience decide what its future might be.
