WOLF GORDON SCULPTURAL DISPLAY PIECE

I was the lead fabricator on this project while employed at The Guild in Brooklyn, NY. It was a sculptural display piece that hung in the central courtyard of a mall in Chicago. It was a complex system made of dibond, foamcore and fabric. The structure of the piece was cut on a cnc router before they were handed to me to fasten together and create a system to hang them. The main challenge of constructing this piece was to assemble it as whole with enough reinforcemnet that its own weight would not tear it apart.
