GAME OF PHONES
Building a global game brand from 0-1
Game of Phones is a card game where all you need is your smartphone to take on creative and unexpected challenges. It’s the ultimate digital scavenger hunt!
Whether you’re looking for a fun family card game, an icebreaker activity, or a game to play with friends, Game of Phones brings people together through the technology we use every day.
Sam Wander and I created the entire concept for the game, developed it as a business and now oversee all aspects of its operations including design, production, marketing, retailer/manufacturer relationship management, budget, and growth strategy.

What started as a grad school project, launched as a Kickstarter, turned passion project, Game of Phones is now a business that sells worldwide. The concept for the game came from our fascination with the way technology changes everyday behavior. We wanted to play with the common sentiment that excessively checking phones is considered anti-social, yet pervasive. Ultimately, Game of Phones became a reaction to this ideas as we saw how phones can make conversations and social interactions better or more fun with the right prompts.
